Board Chairman

Kweku Awotwi is the Board Chairman for the United Bank of Africa (UBA) and was formerly the Vice President, and Managing Director of Tullow Oil Ghana. Other high-profile roles in the past include the Acting President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and the Managing Director of Strategic Planning and New Business Development at Ashanti Goldfields (AGC).

Samuel Nana Brew-Butler

Vice Chairman

Samuel Nana Brew-Butler has held many senior roles in his career, most notably Group Commercial Manager of Ghana Industrial Holding Corporation. He then set up Reltub Company Limited

Dr. Jimmy Heymann

Board Member

One of the founders of Cenpower, Dr. Heymann is a medical practitioner. After acquiring a lot of working experience in Ghana and Nigeria, he established a successful medical practice in Ghana in 1989.

Georgina Quaisie

Board Member

Mrs. Georgina Quaisie is the Executive Director of the GHACOE Women’s Ministry. She has to her credit, a number of innovative programmes in promoting alternative education for the less privileged

Andrew Simpson

Board Member

Andrew Simpson is the Chief Executive Officer of Bedrock Insurance Company Limited in Accra and also, the Head of Finance for Play Soccer Ghana.

Judy McPherson

Board Member

Judy McPherson is the founder, chair and CEO of Play Soccer, nonprofit corporation with a mission of development through sport. She was the Deputy Director at UNICEF for ten (10) years

Ellis Quarshie

Board Member

Ellis Quarshie, currently with Bolte Communication on an Internet Connectivity Project (MiFi) at the University of Cape Coast as a site Distribution Manager.

Ms. Ama Gyamfuah Abrefa

Board Member

Ms. Ama Gyamfuah Abrefa is a legal practitioner called to the Ghana Bar in 2007. Currently, she is also the Assistant Company Secretary for Stanbic Investment Management Services Limited (SIMS) and SBG Securities Ghana Limited.

Management

Mr. Franklin ASUO

Country Director

Mr. Franklin ASUO has over 15 years of experience managing development projects funded by various donors including FIFA Foundation, Manchester City Cityzens Giving, the French Embassy, the Global Fund, DFID, UNFPA, Ghana AIDS Commission, JICA, IPPF, etc. He has a Master of Public Health and BSc. Biochemistry degrees. He has advanced and basic level proficiency in spoken and written English and French respectively.

Mr. Anthony Asante Addo

Program Manager

Mr. Addo is a results-oriented Programmes Manager with years of experience working with Sports for Development Non-Governmental Organizations promoting quality education, human rights, sanitation and hygiene. Having a degree in Project Management with proven experience in managing projects from conception to completion whiles engaging all stakeholders at all stages of intervention, designing strategies and coaching individuals towards achieving project objectives.

Mr. Dickson Antwi Berkomah

Finance Officer

Mr. Berkomah has over 2 years of experience working as an Accountant. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and currently pursuing his chartered accountancy course. He has managed finances from funds from FIFA Foundation, Manchester City Cityzens Giving among many others.

Mr. Emmanuel Mensah

M&E Officer

Emmanuel Mensah is a Development Practitioner with a first degree in Development Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and over 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation. He has led the monitoring and evaluation of several projects including Aquatic Survival Programme, Local Accountability Network and BreathLife Project.
